On the tours, you’ll learn about the history of beer, beer styles, and about the history of the breweries in the Western Cape area.

We walk from stop to spot as we point out some interesting cultural facts of the area.

Where to Meet

Your guide will meet you at Heritage Square parking lot on the corner of Shortmarket and Bree Street.

Your Guide will be wearing a branded T-shirt with a branded umbrella in hand.

Cape Town has paid street parking available in all tour locations. We recommend making use of local transport like Uber, Taxify or taking a walk to our meeting points.

We do our best to accommodate your dietary and allergy needs. As long as we are given advance notice at the time you book your experience, we can arrange for alternative tastings. At this time, we are unable to accommodate vegan and gluten-free diets. You are absolutely more than welcome to join us on the tour, just keep in mind that there may be some tastings that you may have to avoid. Should you have any questions, please reach out to our operations team directly.

To maximize your chances of getting the day, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance as spots fill up quickly. Tickets can be purchased with a Visa, AMEX, or MasterCard from our website or by calling our team directly. Cash and/or walk-up traffic the day of the tours are not accepted.

Yes! We have children’s ticket available for purchase.  We feel that you know your children best and this tour has moments of quiet attention and if you feel your little one would enjoy this type of experience, they are absolutely welcome.  Please note, all children over the age of 2 requires a general admission ticket. This tour is not optimized for strollers/push chairs/prams.
