Yes! We have children’s ticket available for purchase.  We feel that you know your children best and this tour has moments of quiet attention and if you feel your little one would enjoy this type of experience, they are absolutely welcome.  Please note, all children over the age of 2 requires a general admission ticket. This tour is not optimized for strollers/push chairs/prams.

Absolutely not! Our tours combine architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into a unique experience. Imagine walking through Cape Town eating our local artisans most delicious foods while learning the neighborhoods from real locals. Let us show you how easy it is to fall in love with Cape Town!

We do our best to accommodate your dietary and allergy needs. So long as we are given advance notice at the time you book your experience, we can arrange for alternative tastings. At this time, we are unable to accommodate vegan and gluten-free diets. You are absolutely more than welcome to join us on the tour, just keep in mind that there may be some tastings that you may have to avoid. Should you have any questions, please reach out to our operations team directly.

To maximize your chances of getting the day, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance as spots fill up quickly. Tickets can be purchased with a Visa, AMEX, or MasterCard from our website or by calling our team directly. Cash and/or walk-up traffic the day of the tours are not accepted.

At this time, we do not provide a waiting list. If a date and time is sold out, there is always a good chance that we will add an additional tour on that day. Please email us to let us know what date you are interested in if you do not see availability.

We take care of the gratuities for our vendors so you can enjoy your time on your culinary experience without reaching for your pocketbook.  If you find you’ve had an extraordinary time, gratuities are greatly appreciated for your tour guide, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-25%.

Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at selected food-tasting locations.

Our experiences are held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we will be able to go inside many of the establishments on the tour. However, we advise to check the weather conditions for your days event and dress appropriately.  If we believe the weather will significantly jeopardize the quality of your experience, we will offer you plenty of notice in the event of a cancellation.

At this time, our tours are not wheelchair or stroller friendly.

Yes! While our tours are offered daily in English, we also offer tours in Afrikaans by request. Please contact our team for more details.

We can accommodate a variety of special requests (family reunions, birthday parties, out of town guests, corporate, conventions, festivals, grand openings and more). Please, note that a min of 2 weeks notice is required.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a small bottle of water if you like. The sun in Cape Town tends to shine bright, so sunscreen is definetely recommended. Be sure to prepare for the weather, it can change quickly! If it looks like rain, feel free to bring along an umbrella.  Otherwise, we’ll take care of you every step of the way!
